Overview
The Alcatel-Lucent Free Desktop application allows employees to preserve their work environment when connecting to any other extension. Upon connection, users automatically retrieve their telephone profiles (telephone number, pre-programmed keys, personal phone book, etc.) and additional applications.
Free Desktop extensions are well-suited for:
meeting room or transit office connections, temporary offices, emergency offices in periods of extension shortage, frequent project-based movements.
Features
number portability (the phone number is automatically allocated to the shared telephone), full profile and application recovery, log in with IP Touch phone or web-based application, application portability (OmniTouch Unified Communications, XML), after log-off, phone set automatically recovers its initial profile, after log-off; calls are immediately forwarded to voice mail or other pre-determined.
Free Desktop is an OmniPCX Enterprise feature activated with one license per user.
